LCRX High Current Driver Circuit

RailSounds Control Connections
This circuit shows how to use a solid state relay to drive high current loads with the LCRX. The Crydom D2W230F is driven off the voltage drop developed across the cab lamp. Contact terminals 1 and 2 can be used to drive an AC load up to 3 amps.

This circuit takes advantage of the DC offset present at the outputs in command mode.

AUX-2 will turn on the cab lamp and allow you to control the relay with the AUX-1, 8, 9, and 0 buttons. Playing with these functions will give you different combinations of outputs.
